Sara and CJ's Wedding Venue

Sara and CJ have chosen a darling, rusting restaurant as their wedding place. The reception will also be held here. These are just some of my walk-through pictures, as well as my favorite things about the place.

This is where 'the cake' will sit. They ring this bell while the bride and groom are standing at the top of the stairs, waiting to be introduced to their family and friends as a married couple.

Just thought this was cute. In the bride's preparation room, there is a 'royal' roman bath...very nice.

This is the dance floor which may or may not be used. There are two different places for dancing and this is the larger, so it depends on the turnout. I really liked the barrels-to-benches effect on the one side of the dancefloor.

The bride and groom and their attendants (the bridal party) sit here during the dinner. There are also stage lights to emphasize them there.
The main dining area. In the very back (pictured below in better detail), behind those arches, is an area with more tables, but those can be removed if the party is smaller and that would become the dance floor. This would be my preference, since it has skylights and therefore better lighting.

The ceremony will likely take place out here, weather permitting. It's a cute little courtyard.
Just another view of the courtyard.
A piece of furniture I admired.
These cherubs are on almost all of the ceiling beams, on either side of the chandaliers.
This fish pond is in the main dining area, and won't matter in the bridal shots or to the wedding party, but I liked it. I especially liked that the pond wall (below) has all these cute bricks with recipes on them. Really interesting!

Part of the wine cellar; again, in the main dining room, but looked neat.
A very pretty fireplace mantle in the main dining room.
One of the rustic chandeliers.
A very neat wood carving over the wine cellar, again in the main dining room.

We will be doing Sara's bridal shots here, in about two weeks, and after she sees those, we'll decide if she wants my help at the wedding and reception. Wish me luck!
